My off-season training program consists of 4 lifting days and 2 mobility/medicine ball/agility/sprint training days.
After performing our extensive warm-up containing individually designed stretching and an active warmup circuit, my first training day consists of medicine ball work and a lower-body focused lift with accessory exercises for mobility and stability.

This is an interview with Indian’s prospect Will Krasne. Will, a Washington, D.C. native, played college baseball at Stanford and Rollins before signging as a free-agent with the Cleveland Indians in 2010. In his first season, he played with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Short Season A) of the New York/Penn League. If you are lucky enough to have a grandma like mine, you’ll understand what it’s like to receive that unexpected package in the mail with that recognizable grandma writing on the front. Often times I admit, contrary to my usual nutritional habits, the package contains some delicious baked goods along with poignant news clippings about my hometown sports teams, the importance of flu shots or meningitis awareness, or various other health related topics. However, one summer day in 2008 I received a package from my grandma which (along with the cookies, of course) contained a book that revolutionized my mental game and without a doubt improved my performance on the field.
