Let’s be upfront about something: There are no magic pills. Under most circumstances, to get truly shredded takes ample amounts of time and dedication to dieting and training hard.
More important than the perfect diet or training program is consistency and commitment to the process.
Slow dieting isn’t for everyone
However, there are individuals who can’t stand doing things in moderation. They simply won’t diet for 16 consecutive weeks regardless of how easy, efficient, and pain-less it may be.
In contrast, these individuals are a select group who seem to thrive in situations that necessitate that they suffer and struggle. They would rather suffer immensely in short bursts and subject themselves to much physical and mental anguish in order to accomplish what our friend in moderation accomplishes in 16.
I call it the blast and cruise approach to fat loss.
There is another way…if you’re willing to suffer.
For six weeks, the sole focus is to eviscerate every fat cell humanly possible. The training sessions are intense and the diet is strict because the goal is to shred fat with brief, intense measures.
After six weeks, you cruise. The training sessions drop off in intensity and the dieting becomes far less regimented. It’s a far cry from practicing the “Dad-Bod” life-style but it is generally a relaxed time where you recover from the nuclear bomb you just dropped on your fat cells. More importantly, you give yourself a break mentally from the rigors that you just subjected yourself too and what follows can be considered a maintenance period.
For 6 weeks, you must be all in. Training, diet, and mindset must be targeted to eviscerated body-fat.
And then it begins again. The cycle perpetuates itself, fluctuating from periods of intense fat loss, maintenance, and then once you reach your body composition goals, you begin to transition into building muscle. If you’re a fan of intense volume and huge quantities of muscle, this same approach can transform your now shredded physique into a greek statue of muscle if you’re willing to work hard enough.
This is for the mental elite. Those afraid to suffer, need not apply.
There are qualifications. Like we said, this coaching program is not for everybody. If you want to participate, you must meet our requirements below:
15% bodyfat and under – If you’re not already this lean, then you don’t need a program of this nature. You need to master the basics and get lean first before you take the next step
Must be male – Male and female fat loss physiology is different. For perfection sake, I want to limit as many variables as possible. For now, males only
100% committed – What I’m going to ask you to do will be to take extreme measures in order to accomplish an extreme goal. If you’re not 100% committed to this with your entire being then don’t waste my time or yours because you won’t succeed. The ability to train 4-6 times per week, sometimes twice a day – Remember, extreme goals require extreme measures
Ability to cook and prepare meals – In order to get shredded, every last detail matters. Simple prescribing nutritional installments each week isn’t going to work unless you’re a genetic freak. Hitting specific macronutrients is paramount to achieving our goal. Controlling macros requires the ability to cook and prepare your own meals
Willing to suffer – Look this isn’t your local boy scout fat loss plan. Comfortable incremental fat loss isn’t the goal here. I want to push your body to adapt as fast as possible. Calories will be lower than comfortable with a high volume of movement. If you’re afraid of being uncomfortable, this plan isn’t for you
Ready to be elite – Like all things, being elite isn’t easy nor does everyone achieve it. In terms of body composition goals, being shredded is elite. If you have veins popping in your abdominals then you my friend are part of a select company. This program is only for people who have a burning desire to be elite.
You will emerge a new person, strengthened by what now seems possible to accomplish.
