It has been quite a whirlwind for me these past couple weeks with our new book going live, and making my way back to Florida after an unreal trip to Boston for training.
To be honest, it was the most productive, and most impactful three weeks of training I think I’ve ever had. Every day consisted of militant adherence to a specific diet, aggressive throwing program, ball busting training plan, mental training conquests, and many other events that would help better myself in life and sport.
It ended up breaking down some of my self perceived limits both physically and mentally, and teaching me more about what I was truly capable of as a healthy human being.
Whether it was doing 70 sets of front squats or trudging through frozen rivers, each challenge I overcame made me stronger.
It might sound crazy, and thats ok. When your goals are lofty, and you are pushing yourself past reason to find who you are, you won’t always be looked at through the same lens of “normal.”
Today, I challenge you to step way outside your comfort zone. Get away from the status quo. Do something that scares the shit out of you. This is where great things happen. This is where you step away from the sheep to become the wolf.
Go do that workout that sounds miserably difficult
Call that girl or guy thats been on your mind
Approach your boss confidently and propose a new, crazy idea for the company
Give away half of your belongings to charity.
Whatever it might be that you dream about, go do in real life. It takes a bit of balls, but if you wanna remain the same, then keep doing what you are doing. This isn’t for you. But if you seek personal growth, well hop on board, you are in good company.
Here is your Monday Motivation for the week. Enjoy!
